Always ahead of the latest market needs, Protec has developed an interactive, digital addressable fire detection system incorporating discriminating algorithms designed to reduce false alarms, whilst providing the most reliable fire detection system.

Protec has the ability to offer a “turn-key” package, including conventional, interactive digital addressable and incipient fire detection systems plus extinguishing and fire suppression options.

This expertise is built on a close working relationship with our major clients encompassing system design, on-site installation, commissioning and a full 24 hour on-call maintenance service from manned centres.

Our Projects Department is responsible for undertaking installation works either directly for the end user or on behalf of major electrical contractors. Works are controlled by our skilled engineering teams based on size, complexity and value.

Our Major Contracts teams are assembled specifically at given periods to concentrate on particular major projects. Specialist engineering teams, usually comprising Project Managers, Installation Supervisors and administration support, operate from both the Nelson Head Office and our network of regional offices. Typical major projects include the Bullring Birmingham, Millennium Dome, Hyundai, Former Royal Yacht Britannia and Haslar Hospital, Southampton.
