Mechanical Fire Sprinkler Supervisor
Protec Camerfield, of Protec Fire and Security Group and the Bosch Group of Companies, specialise in every aspect of Fire Protection including Automatic Sprinkler Installations, Deluge, Gaseous Extinguishing, Low and High-Pressure Water mist Systems, Foam systems, Hose Reels, Hydrants, and all associated water supplies. We have an opportunity for a self-motivated individual who can work all aspects of mechanical sprinkler systems. The role requires a pro-active and pragmatic individual who can work alone and along and part of a team to collaborate with all relevant contributors for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the systems with excellent communication and quality results leading a team of installers to deliver the project objectives to our customers. This is an opportunity to join a growing department within an expanding sector of the fire industry in the south region of the country. Current and forthcoming projects cover public and private sectors; including custodial, healthcare, hotels, retail and residential; and range in value from £100k to 3.5million+. The project that we would be located in mainly the London region with a possible degree of flexibility in working location may be required. Protec cover all travel and accommodation expenses. Training and further qualifications will be offered to the successful candidate.

Typical Responsibilties
- To handle a sprinkler installation team which would mainly be sub-contractors working alongside the project manager/engineer or site manager.
- Able to be left on site to site supervise if the senior management have to leave site.
- Delivering the works efficiently and, including responsibility for raising purchase orders and organising materials, equipment to site.
- Effectively manage the site files; attending regular daily weekly meetings/DABs; having responsibility for health and safety; producing progress updates and reports; and completion of project quality assurance checks.
- Communicate and deliver TBT, programmes of work, check drawings, RAMS, check sheets and all safety aspect to the project.
- Liaise with management, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and information flow.
- Have good knowledge of computers and programs i.e., Excel, word, Dalux, Asite etc.
- Identify and potential clashes and able to resolve without deviations or nonconformities from scope, Standards or contract.
- Ability to travel within the UK, when required.
