Digital Engineering Technician

Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch Company, have an opportunity for Digital Design Engineers, to work within our Digital Engineering team, specifically working with Revit to produce contract documents, models and drawings. You will work closely with regional project Design Engineers to deliver project design documentation to program. Also important is the timely completion of associated administrative duties as well as maintaining accurate records in line with Company Procedures.

Typical Responsibilties

  • To become fully competent, through in-house training, in the use of the Company’s computer systems to meet customer requirements and communicate accurate and valid information when conversing with both internal and external customers.
  • To represent the Company consistently and positively to customers in line with the Customer Care Requirements.
  • To always maintain effective communication with both internal and external customers.
  • To ensure all documentation is accurately completed, stored and provided to appropriate personnel when required.
  • To assist project Design Engineer with technical design tasks.
  • To produce project design documentation in line Company SMP’s and ensure correct use of cloud files.
  • To attend internal coordination/design meetings.
  • To issue project documents to internal/external CDE’s for approval.
  • To monitor CDE’s and liaise with stakeholders to capture project changes/instructions.
  • To produce design deliverables in line with project programs.
  •  Any other duties commensurate with the role.
