Payroll & HR Apprentice

We have an opportunity for an apprentice to work within the HR & Payroll department. The role is based around being a team player who has a flexible attitude and is willing to get the job done. Your main responsibility is to provide administrative support to the HR and Payroll teams.

Typical Responsibilties

  • Processing payroll: You will assist with processing payroll by ensuring that employee time and attendance records are accurate and that all necessary deductions and withholdings are made.
  • Updating employee records: You will be responsible for keeping employee records up-to-date, including changes to personal information, employment status, and payroll data.
  • Answering employee questions: You will be a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, and will need to provide accurate information and support.
  • Maintaining HR and payroll systems: You will be responsible for maintaining HR and payroll databases, ensuring that data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assisting with HR projects: You will assist with various HR projects and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members on initiatives to enhance payroll and HR operations.
  • Support with identifying and rectifying discrepancies or errors in payroll.
