Credit Controller

Location: Head Office, Nelson

We are currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller at our Head Office in Nelson. 

Duties will include the day to day running of customer accounts, controlling the debtor’s ledger, dealing with solicitors and communicating with clients regarding their accounts including chasing payments and providing documentation where required. Along with monitoring and chasing Interim Applications and Payment Certificates issued against works currently undertaken as part of on-going projects. This role demands a high level of organisation as well as a strong appreciation for sub-contract terms and conditions. 

The ideal candidate will be need to have previous experience of Credit Control an with experience of sub-contract Credit Control or Credit Control within the Construction industry advantageous. Trainee Project Engineer

The role will involve working alongside experienced staff and learning how to manage a large project day to day. This will involve managing labour resources, financial costings, deadlines and client liaison. 

The successful candidate will be a confident individual with excellent planning and organisational skills. You will be familiar with Microsoft Office programs as well as being able to learn new software packages. The ability to communicate with staff and clients at all levels in a professional manner is also essential. Whilst not essential, previous experience of working with Fire Alarms or associated systems would be advantageous.
