Fire Alarm Design Estimator

Location: Leeds

We are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Design Estimator to prepare layout designs for Fire Alarms and associated systems. The successful candidate will work on cost preparation and presentation of quotations to clients. Experience of working in a similar design role is preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Good IT skills and a familiarity with Microsoft packages are essential. A working knowledge of Fire Alarms and applicable Standards are an advantage.

Whilst not essential an Electrical based qualification would be advantageous

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Salary dependant on experience.

Temporary Administrator

Location: Leeds

We are looking to recruit an Administrator within our Leeds office Design Department.
The position is temporary cover for maternity leave and is to last approximately 9 months

Duties include administrative support for the Design Team comprising; answering telephone, typing, preparation and distribution of quotations, Document control/filing and updating data base.

Good IT skills, including typing and a familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access & Outlook packages are essential.

Custodial Design Estimator

Location: Nelson

We require a Design Estimator to prepare designs and estimates while assisting the bid team to prepare quotations, technical submissions and tenders for new works.

The successful candidate will prepare competitive quotations in accordance with both customer and British Standard requirements, ensure tenders are accurate and customer orders correctly processed.  Duties also include preparing conceptual electronic design drawings, system schematic wiring details, cost information and profit forecast.  

Applicants must have experience designing and costing new installations in a similar role, along with the ability to produce and read technical drawings. The ability to produce accurate costs and an excellent eye for detail are also essential criteria.  An Electrical based qualification, such as City & Guilds, ONC or HNC, would be desirable.  

40 hours per week,   Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

Customer Services - Contract Sales Coordinator

Location: Nelson
 

We are looking for an organised, confident, motivated individual to join our Contract Sales team based within our busy Customer Services Department. 

Duties include preparing & sending quotations to clients, dealing with any queries & correspondence arising from the quotes, collation of statistics as requested by the department director, maintaining records via a database.

Candidates must have excellent organisational skills. An excellent and confident telephone manner and previous telephone experience is also essential. Applicants must have previous experience working in a busy office environment, balancing administrative duties whilst responding to telephone and email queries. Candidates must be able to use their own initiative, be able to work under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines.

Minimum 37.5 hour week, Monday - Friday with Flexi-time.  Salary dependent on experience

Service Engineer

Location: Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, London, Norwich, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool, Darlington & North East. Applications from other areas will also be considered. 

Due to continued expansion we have a number of vacancies for Service & Commissioning Engineers. You will be required to maintain, service and commission our Fire Detection and associated systems. Applicants will be qualified to ONC electrical/electronic standard or have relevant hands on experience in the electrical service or security contracting industry. Successful candidates will receive training on the company's products and industry standards enabling them to carry out most categories of work, including new system commissioning when appropriate. 

Minimum forty hour working week with "On Call" rota and overtime.  A company vehicle is provided for which a valid driving licence is essential.
