Export Administrator

Location: Head Office, Nelson

We are currently looking for an Export Administrator to cover maternity leave within our busy Export department. The position is expected to last between ten and twelve months. 

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administration support to the Export team which will include logging and processing incoming orders, generating order acknowledgements based on each clients individual agreements, liaising closely with production and stores departments regarding product lead times, completing all relevant export documentation such as EUR1 Movement Certificates and Certificates of Origin, sourcing and arranging best value international shipments and a range of accounting functions including some credit control, invoice generation and financial reporting. 

This is a very varied role which would suit someone with experience in Export as well as some purchase ledger and credit control tasks. The ideal candidate will be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft and SAGE packages. You must be very good with customers and able to communicate confidently and clearly with clients whose first language may not be English. Organisation is also a very important quality for this role. 

The position is a temporary role to cover maternity leave and is full time, 37.5 hours over 5 days.

Trainee Project Engineer

Location: Wrexham

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Project Engineer to work on a large Fire Alarm installation project. The role will involve working alongside experienced staff and learning how to manage a large project day to day. This will involve managing labour resources, financial costings, deadlines and client liaison. 

The successful candidate will be a confident individual with excellent planning and organisational skills. You will be familiar with Microsoft Office programs as well as being able to learn new software packages. The ability to communicate with staff and clients at all levels in a professional manner is also essential. Whilst not essential, previous experience of working with Fire Alarms or associated systems would be advantageous. 

In return we are offering a full time, permanent position in a successful company. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience. Full training will be given and you will be assisted to develop into a Project Engineer. Hours of work will be 40 per week with additional hours where required.

CAD Operator

Location: Nelson, Head Office

We are looking to recruit a temporary CAD Operator to work within our busy head office based in Nelson. This is to cover Maternity Leave and is expected to last for approximately 12 months.

The successful candidate will work closely with the existing Design and Projects teams to prepare tender design and construction drawings for our customers.

Applicants must have experience in a similar role, all aspects of CAD and the latest AutoCAD software.  Candidates will also have the skills to successfully control and manage their workload and use their initiative in order to maintain company and project CAD standards and drawing document procedures.

Applicants must have qualifications or experience in 3D software such as 3D Revit, Auto Cad 2015 and be conversant with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook. The ability to work in 3D/BIM applications is desirable.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday offering a competitive salary.

Sprinkler Supervisor

Location: London

We require an experienced pipe fitter to work as a supervisor across a number of our London based Sprinkler installation projects. 

Duties include managing installations works on site, preparing work schedules and ensuring timely completion of projects.

The successful candidate must have experience in a similar position with knowledge of water mist, gas suppression and foam suppressions systems. 

You must be flexible and willing to travel to multiple sites as well as willing to work extra hours where required. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and a great team leader who is capable of managing labour and working well with clients.

Fire Extinguisher Service/Sales Engineer

Location: Leeds, The Midlands and London

We require three Fire Extinguisher Service Engineers to work in Leeds, the Midlands and London areas.

Duties include servicing, selling & maintaining portable fire equipment, including hose reels, to current standards.

The successful candidate must hold a relevant qualification (IFEDA, BAFE or FETA certificate) and be an enthusiastic, reliable worker who has experience in a similar position. Ansul experience or qualification would be very advantageous. Candidates must be willing to travel.

There will be training opportunities in Ansul systems, Fire Alarms and Emergency lighting. This position provides a good basic salary and excellent opportunity to earn commission and overtime.

Service Engineer

Location: Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol & London

Due to continued expansion we have a number of vacancies for Service & Commissioning Engineers. You will be required to maintain, service and commission our Fire Detection and associated systems. Applicants will be qualified to ONC electrical/electronic standard or have relevant hands on experience in the electrical service or security contracting industry. Successful candidates will receive training on the company's products and industry standards enabling them to carry out most categories of work, including new system commissioning when appropriate. 

Minimum forty hour working week with "On Call" rota and overtime.  A company vehicle is provided for which a valid driving licence is essential.
