Fire Sprinkler Service & Remedial Engineer
Are you an experienced fire sprinkler engineer looking to build a long-term career in a varied and technically rewarding role? We are expanding our team and are looking for a skilled Fire Sprinkler Service & Remedial Engineer to work across commercial, industrial and secure sites. This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise across a broad range of life-safety systems, take on increasingly complex technical challenges and contribute directly to the reliable operation of systems that protect people and property. You will carry out servicing, testing, fault finding and remedial repairs while working alongside experienced colleagues and receiving ongoing training and professional development. The role is well suited to an engineer who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys solving practical problems and wants to progress within a growing business. The work is varied and includes regular assignments in high-security environments, including prisons. You must therefore be eligible to obtain and maintain the required prison and security clearances.

Typical Responsibilities
● Service, test and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
● Diagnose faults, identify defects and recommend appropriate solutions.
● Complete remedial repairs and replace defective components.
● Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
● Identify additional remedial works and provide accurate details of the work required.
● Service and maintain sprinkler systems, water mist systems, fire hose reel installations, dry risers and fire hydrant systems.
● Repair sprinkler pipework, valves, pumps, alarms and associated equipment where suitably qualified and competent.
● Test systems in line with relevant standards, regulations and manufacturer requirements.
● Complete service reports, job sheets and electronic records accurately and promptly.
● Communicate professionally with customers, site representatives and other contractors.
● Follow company procedures, risk assessments and health and safety requirements.
● Work independently while maintaining consistently high standards of workmanship.
● Travel to customer sites, including secure, restricted-access and high-security locations.
