EvacPro is the product name for the Protec Evacuation Alert Control and Indicating Equipment (EACIE) which is designed and manufactured to meet the recommendations of BS 8629:2019. This is required for use by Fire and Rescue Services to have the facility evacuate a high-rise accommodation building in an emergency.

The control panel is to be housed in a high-security tamper-proof vandal-resistant STS 205 BR2 enclosure, fitted with a patented BS EN 1303 lock as required by BS8629. This enclosure is to be provided by others. Each EvacPro control panel is of a modular design, supporting four digital addressable data loops with up to 100 addresses per loop and 16, 32 or 48 zone toggle switches.

Multiple EvacPro panels may be connected to further expand the system to create a building-wide evacuation system across large or complex sites.

The slide-in toggle switch labels ensures quick and clear identification of the Evacuation Zones, alongside red and yellow LED’s to show the activation status of the system.

Using the Protec 6000PLUS protocol enables addressable loop output devices such as 6000PLUS sounders and visual alarm devices (compliant with EN54 pt.23) to be added to the system.

The system is onsite programmable via a standard USB port with the Protec virtual panel software for commissioning and maintenance.
