In late 2022, Bosch Building Technologies launched Nexospace, a powerful digital service suite designed to transform the way buildings are managed. By bringing IoT-enabled services together on a single, secure cloud platform, Nexospace delivers smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable building operations, giving customers greater visibility, control, and confidence across their building systems.

The Datanaut embodies NEXOSPACE’s mission to help building owners and operators move
beyond traditional maintenance and into a connected, data‑driven future.
Since launch, the Nexospace portfolio has continued to expand, with solutions such as the Nexospace Fire System Analyzer and Nexospace Energy Manager delivering measurable value through improved system performance, reduced downtime, and enhanced operational efficiency. Today, Nexospace is recognised as a leading digital services brand within the European Life Safety Integrator market.
Why NEXOSPACE Is the Right Fit for Protec?
Following the strong customer uptake of Protec’s Cloud‑Based Remote Services launched in early 2025, the company is now expanding its digital portfolio by introducing additional solutions to the proven Nexospace digital service suite. These enhanced digital services will be offered to clients as part of Protec’s service and maintenance packages.
Protec Creates New Benefits for Its Customers with The Introduction of The NEXOSPACE Life Safety Hub.
Protec’s existing Cloud Based Remote Services, already provide stakeholders with real-time insights into life safety systems.

Building on this capability, Protec will launch the ‘NEXOSPACE Life Safety Hub’, to become a centralised digital portal that brings together account information, system insights, and service visibility across multiple life safety systems. The result is reduced complexity, improved transparency, and greater control for customers managing multiple sites or systems.
Customers Will Now Have Full System Integration and Control of The Protec 6500 With NEXOSPACE Remote Engineering Services – Fire
Bosch Building Technologies Nexospace Fire System Analyzer and Nexospace Fire System Optimizer provides more granular, system-specific digital services for individual protection systems, both focusing on fire system performance and optimisation.

With the future introduction of the new Protec 6500/PCI (Protec Cloud Interface), Protec can now deliver a comparable IoT-enabled solution. This enables building owners, facility managers, and service & commissioning engineers to securely access and manage a Protec 6500 system from any remote internet browser. As a result, Protec will also introduce ‘NEXOSPACE Remote Engineering Services – Fire’, to further enhance remote diagnostics, support, and system optimisation capabilities for customers fire alarm systems.
What Customers Expect to See Next from Protec and NEXOSPACE
In the coming weeks Protec service customers will see slight changes to the existing Client Account Portal and will transition to become the ‘NEXOSPACE Life Safety Hub’ As an exciting development Protec is also bringing to market the 6500/PCI which is the physical interface that attaches to the 6500 Fire Alarm Control Panel to provide remote monitoring of 6500 systems. The ‘NEXOSPACE Remote Engineering Services – Fire’ will be the digital platform which users will be able to access their 6500 from a remote location via the 6500/PCI.
