The 6000PLUS Heat with Sounder Visual Alarm Device (6000PLUS/HT/SVAD) is an Interactive, fast and reliable heat detector using a low thermal mass thermistor for rapid response to rising temperatures. Intelligent Protec Algo‑Tec™ 6000PLUS algorithms ensure accurate decision‑making and reduced false alarms.

The talking sounder is capable of delivering synchronised alert and evacuate messages around a building, removing any ambiguity, particularly for anyone unfamiliar with the building alert and evacuation strategy, enabling a more prompt and safe building evacuation.

Designed to support DDA requirements, the Visual Alarm Device (VAD) provides a clear visual warning for people with hearing impairments and in noisy environments The high-intensity, energy-efficient LED is centrally positioned VAD delivers reliable 360-degree visibility. Suitable for ceiling mounting, it achieves the required 0.4 lux illumination across the coverage area in compliance with EN54-23.

The device supports a maximum mounting height of 3m with a standard coverage diameter of 7.5m, and can be programmed on-site for 3m or 5m coverage at reduced power.
